Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA CCCs preferred; strong Clinical Fellows with SLP-CFY considered
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with junior and high school ages, is a plus
- Solid understanding of pediatric speech-language pathology practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to diligently supervise walk-in therapy students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to approximately 40 students on your caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Supervise therapy for walk-in students, ensuring high-quality care
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Engage in ongoing professional communication with multi-disciplinary teams
