Speech Language Pathologist Position - Cleveland, OH
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services for students from kindergarten through 8th grade in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year. With flexible scheduling, the role requires one day per week, totaling approximately 7 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in K-8 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide therapy sessions focusing on pediatric speech and language development.
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to ensure consistent student support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with healthcare and educational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, educational, or teletherapy settings.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language programs and procedures.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work independently.
