A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 setting focused on students with autism, emotional disturbances, and Multiple Disabilities (MDS). This role requires expertise in school-based SLP practices and certification (CCC) to effectively support a diverse student caseload.
Location:
- Clarks Summit, PA (onsite)
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration through the current school year, ending on June 9, 2026
- Full-time hours: 35 per week
- Caseload includes autistic, emotional disturbance, and MDS students, primarily at the Monticello location with a nearly full caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy and interventions tailored to K-12 students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to school staff
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA is required
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings
- Ability to work with a diverse population including students with autism and multiple disabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid state licensure for practicing as an SLP
