Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Clarkesville, GA
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students during the 2020-2021 school year in Clarkesville, GA, with placements also in nearby locations including Helen, Cleveland, and Cornelia. This role is ideal for professionals holding an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse student caseload, with an opportunity to express preference for caseload assignments. Services may be delivered in school settings and through teletherapy, addressing the needs of pediatric populations within educational environments.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to those in CFY
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology services
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language therapy
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff
This position runs from August to May and offers two openings. Interviews will be conducted over the next two weeks to accommodate applicants’ schedules.
