Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Clark, NJ
Providing specialized speech-language services for preschool students within a dynamic school setting in Clark, NJ, this role offers an invaluable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' communication development. This position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist holding a current New Jersey Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credential. The assignment is set in a single school, focusing exclusively on special education services for approximately 30 preschool students, delivered through both group and individual sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy tailored to preschool-aged children with special needs.
- Manage a caseload of about 30 students, providing both individual and group interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in panel-style interviews and remain flexible with scheduling as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license along with either CCC or CF certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school-based special education environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work on-site during the school day from 8:45 AM to 3:25 PM, four days per week.
- Willingness to start immediately to meet urgent staffing needs.
