Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Clarence, New York
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Clarence, NY, within a school setting serving students in grades K-5. This role offers a part-time schedule of 22.5 hours per week, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The assignment runs from February 2 through the end of the academic year.
Key responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy services to students, implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals, utilizing designated therapy space, and participating in paid team meetings and administrative time. The district supports teletherapy and offers training related to their IEP system. Supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows (CFYs) as appropriate.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- NY State Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Experience working in school-based settings with pediatric populations
- Comfort providing services to K-5th grade students
- Ability to work itinerantly within one school site and be flexible with paid travel
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Experience or willingness to deliver teletherapy services
