Pediatric Speech Pathology - Niagara Falls, NY
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in New York to provide specialized services within an elementary school setting in Niagara Falls, NY. This contract position runs from early February through the end of the school year, offering a part-time schedule of approximately 22.5 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role supports K-5 students and includes itinerant work with paid travel.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, collaborating with educational staff, and maintaining compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements using the district’s system, with training provided. The position offers designated therapy space and includes paid administrative and team meeting time. Candidates may have the opportunity to provide supervision or receive supervision depending on their certification status.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid New York State SLP license is required
- Experience or interest in school-based pediatrics and teletherapy
- Familiarity with the School Speech-Language Pathology CCC or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credential
- Ability to work within a caseload or workload model serving elementary students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with school staff and families

- Document therapy progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Manage caseload effectively, including scheduling and itinerary planning
