This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to foster communication skills and support academic success.
Location: Claremont, NH
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure consistency in care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and required records.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input on students’ communication goals and progress.
- Stay informed about the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
