This opportunity is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking contract work in the El Dorado County area, encompassing locations from El Dorado Hills to Camino, CA. The role offers a diverse range of settings, potentially including PreK to Adult transition programs, with a focus on serving mild to moderate caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services across multiple school sites within the district.
- Manage varied caseloads, adapting to site-specific needs and student requirements.
- Travel within the county as part of an itinerant schedule, delivering onsite support at different locations.
- Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable.
- Maintain compliance with California state licensing and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC preferred).
- Experience working in school settings, specifically with mild to moderate caseloads.
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) and CA school district protocols.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple sites throughout the workweek.
- Willingness to provide onsite supervision for CFs and SLPAs.
Location:
- This contract position is fully onsite within various schools in El Dorado County, California.
- Conveniently reachable from Lake Tahoe (approximately 1.5 hours east) and Sacramento (approximately 45 minutes west).
