Speech Pathology - Citrus Heights, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract role will run from ASAP through June 12th, 2026, serving the needs of elementary through high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights for student success
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or Educator Certification required
- Experience working in school settings with children across K-12 preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize services according to district needs
Location: Citrus Heights, California (K-12 school district)
This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Exact caseload details will be provided upon hire. This position is replacing a current contractor and does not include Vocational Observation and Counseling (VOCO) responsibilities.
