A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract role runs through the current school year, ending on June 12, 2026, with an expected start date as soon as possible. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or Educator Certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to manage caseload effectively with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
