A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract role covers two consecutive leave periods: the first from December 15 to February 28, and the second from February 28 to the end of the school year. Both assignments involve high school students with an emphasis on case management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads effectively, focusing on individual student needs and progress
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to high school students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary support efforts

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification appropriate for school settings (SLP or SLP/SLPA considered)
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably high school level
  • Strong skills in case management and therapy planning
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
