A Temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Citrus Heights, CA, serving students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract assignment runs through the end of the current school year, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, five days a week, at one onsite location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students from TK to 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student services and progress
Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience or credential in school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and school staff
- Commitment to providing onsite services during the school week
