Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity - Cincinnati, OH
Role Description
Lead innovative speech and language intervention services for students with communication challenges across Ohio school districts. You'll utilize advanced teletherapy technology to deliver engaging, effective treatment sessions addressing articulation, language processing, voice disorders, and augmentative communication needs.
Your expertise will guide students from preschool through transition age in developing critical communication skills. Work collaboratively with educational teams to ensure therapeutic goals align with academic success. Create dynamic virtual experiences that motivate students and accelerate progress toward communication milestones.
Primary Duties
Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations using standardized and informal assessment tools. Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on individual student needs and IEP requirements. Deliver direct therapy services through interactive virtual sessions designed to maximize engagement and learning.
Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and session activities. Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom strategies for communication support. Provide family education and training to promote skill generalization. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning processes.
Required Credentials
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field. Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Current Ohio speech language pathology license. Minimum of two years professional experience in school-based speech therapy services.
Proficiency with technology platforms and virtual meeting software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to build rapport with students in virtual environment. Experience with diverse populations and communication disorders preferred.
