Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cicero, IL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible SLP licensure for Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of a variety of communication disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
- Deliver therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student growth
- Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Educate staff and families about communication disorders and strategies for success
