You’ll be working with early childhood through 8th-grade students, sharing a caseload of approximately 70 with another skilled SLP, ensuring manageable workloads and strong peer partnership. Desired Experience and Skills:
- Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) and Speech-Language Pathology license through IDFPR
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strength in case management, documentation, and developing IEP goals
- Excellent collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to students with speech and language needs
- Manage a targeted caseload, collaborating with a co-therapist for optimal student outcomes
- Develop individualized goals and maintain progress records per district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to related documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for students and faculty
- Serve exclusively on-site, engaging with students and staff face to face
