Preferred candidates will possess:
- Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively serve diverse student populations
- Prior pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly favored
- Previous work in healthcare settings a plus
- Supervision capability for a bilingual SLPA (for fully-credentialed SLPs)
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families
- Willingness to work fully on-site during the assignment
- CFYs considered with supervision provided
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech/language assessments and therapy to students, focusing on individualized educational goals
- Communicating progress and strategies clearly with families and fellow educators
- Supervising and supporting a bilingual SLPA, facilitating quality intervention services
- Maintaining documentation and compliance in line with school and professional standards
- Participating actively in team meetings and student planning sessions
