Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver remote/teletherapy services to students in the Churchville, VA school district. You will provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy via virtual platforms while collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
This is a fully remote role (telepractice), allowing you to work from home while serving K–12 students in the district.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct therapy sessions to K–12 students via telepractice

Conduct speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments virtually
-
Develop, implement, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide consultation, coaching, and indirect services to support general education staff
-
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete IEP paperwork in compliance with district and state requirements

Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure goals are aligned and progress is shared
-
Attend virtual meetings (e.g., IEP meetings, staff meetings) as needed
-
Maintain clinical competence through professional development and staying current in telepractice best practices
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Virginia SLP licensure
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience in school-based settings or working with children / adolescents preferred
-
Demonstrated comfort with teletherapy platforms, technology, and remote delivery
-
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
-
Ability to manage a remote caseload with consistency and reliability
