The role involves working onsite with students across approximately two schools, predominantly elementary sites, serving an average caseload of 47 students. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language therapy to support student communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators and staff to integrate speech goals within the classroom environment.
- Maintaining documentation and progress reports in compliance with relevant standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success plans.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification and licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, specific to Alaska requirements.
- Valid SLP CCC credential or appropriate SLP-School certification.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with K-12 students.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
Work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, typically 8.5 hours daily with a half-hour unpaid lunch. The position requires onsite presence; remote or VOCO work is not available.
