This full-time position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students within a special education setting. The role involves providing itinerant SLP services across multiple school sites, primarily Spring Valley School, Bangor Elementary School, and Berry Creek Elementary School, requiring frequent travel between locations. The contract duration extends through May 28, 2026, with an immediate start.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Administering assessments and developing tailored intervention plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintaining documentation and progress records in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Managing a caseload across multiple sites with effective time and travel coordination
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Special Education or equivalent
- Experience working within school-based SLP settings, ideally serving K-12 populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage itinerant service delivery
- Ability to work onsite exclusively and travel between assigned school locations
