Position Summary:
A student-centered school district in Chico, California is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to support students’ communication development and academic success. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective therapy plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP and 504 goals.

Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in classroom and therapy settings.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and related professionals to promote student success.

Recommend and facilitate the use of assistive communication devices and strategies.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to transition planning.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with district and state regulations.

Provide training and resources to staff and families.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid California State SLP license.
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and school-based therapy protocols.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
