Travel SLP in Chicago, IL
A vibrant opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) fluent in Spanish to support students within a diverse school network serving multiple locations throughout Chicago, Illinois, extending to North Chicago. This role requires providing in-person services, delivering specialized speech and language support to children in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Spanish-speaking students.
- Travel between multiple school sites within the Chicago area to deliver services.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential preferred.
- Valid licensure to practice in Illinois.
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students, families, and staff effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the school network for on-site service delivery.
Location: Chicago, IL (multiple school sites within the metropolitan area and North Chicago region)
