A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support an elementary school setting in Elgin, IL. Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 6, 2026
Schedule: Either 2 full days or 2.5 full days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide ongoing consultation regarding speech and language development.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Valid Illinois SLP license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based environment.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are highly desirable and considered a strong asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
