A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year, supporting students in a K-12 therapeutic center setting focused on special education services. This contract role involves providing in-person therapeutic and diagnostic support within a dedicated educational co-op environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for students
- Providing targeted speech-language therapy to early childhood (EC) students, approximately 9-10 in the afternoon sessions, twice a week
- Attending necessary meetings related to student progress and services
- Completing report writing and documentation during designated work periods
- Collaborating with educational and therapeutic staff to support student needs in a structured therapeutic center setting
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP - School)
- Familiarity with early childhood caseloads and diagnostic assessments
- Ability to deliver services in-person; virtual services are not applicable for this role
- Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating evaluations, therapy sessions, and documentation
