Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Joliet, IL
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting in Joliet, IL. The contract runs from March through May 22, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM. The role focuses on providing speech and language services to students in grades K through 5, managing a caseload of 35 to 40 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports.
- Monitor and adjust therapy goals based on student performance and development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatric speech and language therapy within a school environment.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 35 to 40 students effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current speech-language pathology best practices for school-aged children.
