A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Chicago, IL. This contract position runs from April through the end of the school year and offers an engaging, school-based caseload focused on supporting pediatric students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs in an elementary school setting
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success and carryover of therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress in compliance with regulatory and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for or holding state licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completion preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
