Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a K-12 school in Chicago, IL. This contract position offers 15 hours per week onsite, serving students with diverse communication needs. The assignment is set to start as soon as possible and will continue through the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings supporting K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite during school hours with flexible scheduling
