Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Richton Park, Illinois
This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with experience in school settings, particularly those holding an SLP-CCC certification. You will support a high school caseload of approximately 25 students with mild to moderate speech and language needs. The role offers a balanced schedule of three days per week, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to high school students with mild to moderate communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP or SLPA license
- For SLPs, possession of an Illinois Professional Educator’s License (PEL) through ISBE is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric caseloads in school or healthcare settings a plus
