A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Calumet City, IL, providing services to students from Early Childhood through 8th grade. This contract position requires on-site work and offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic school district’s speech and language programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students ranging from Early Childhood to 8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a public school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Calumet City, IL.
- On-site work only; telepractice or voice-over-contract (VOCO) services are not permitted.
- Contract dates from ASAP through June 3, 2026.
- Approximately 33.75 hours per week.
