School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Mount Prospect, Illinois

A full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a maternity leave contract from February to June at an early childhood school in Mount Prospect, IL. This role focuses on supporting preschool and kindergarten caseloads within a collaborative environment alongside two other experienced SLPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for preschool and kindergarten students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals and student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP License required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress.
- Experience working with early childhood or school-aged populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:40 AM to 3:40 PM.
- Located in Mount Prospect, IL.
- Contract duration to cover maternity leave from February through June.
