Speech Pathology - Chicago, IL
A K-12 school in Chicago, IL is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025-2026 school year. These contract positions will primarily support students in elementary and middle school programs, with a focus on Autism services. The role requires in-person work from August 13, 2025, to May 27, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 35-40 students.
- Focus on delivering individualized interventions for students within the Autism program.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Support CF candidates with mentorship provided externally by their agency.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license or temporary license as an SLP.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in special education and Autism programs.
- Willingness to work on-site for the full contract period; no remote positions available.
- Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship experience are encouraged to apply, provided that mentorship is arranged through their agency.
