This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) dedicated to supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting focused on special education. The role primarily serves elementary and middle school students within an autism program, providing impactful therapy to approximately 35-40 students.

Location: Aurora, IL
Position Type: Contract for the 2025-2026 school year
Dates: August 13, 2025 – May 27, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM
Format: In-person services only

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs, predominantly in an autism-focused program
  • Managing a caseload of 35-40 students, mostly at the elementary and middle school levels
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation to meet program guidelines
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance service delivery

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and/or relevant state licensure
  • Experience or interest in working with students on the autism spectrum and within special education settings
  • Candidates in their clinical fellowship year (CF) are encouraged to apply; however, mentorship must be provided externally
  • Commitment to providing in-person therapy services—remote work is not offered for this position
