A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract position spans the entire school year (NSY), offering the chance to apply clinical expertise in a fulfilling educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide direct intervention services to students with communication disorders.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Completion or current standing in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience or certification in School-based Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for working with children and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively within a school calendar.
