Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Chicago, Illinois
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year (CSY) from February through May, serving an elementary school setting in Chicago, IL. The role involves providing onsite, hands-on support to a caseload of 25 elementary-aged students. This contract opportunity requires a professional educator licensed with a Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language services to elementary students
- Managing and treating communication disorders within the assigned caseload
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with relevant educational standards
Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement for Illinois
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder interventions
- Ability to provide services onsite, adhering to school schedules and policies
This role does not offer virtual or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) hours; all therapy services are provided in-person.
