A contract role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy to support K-12 students. The position involves delivering remote speech therapy services designed to meet individual student needs in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions focused on speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student progress and adapt strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools effectively to engage students remotely.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current licensure.
- Experience providing teletherapy services, preferably in an educational setting.
- Skilled in virtual communication tools and technology used for remote therapy.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
Location: Remote position serving K-12 students in Elgin, IL.
