Virtual Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team providing virtual therapy services to students in a school-based setting. This position is 100% remote and open to candidates residing in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing speech and language services to children and a strong commitment to supporting students' educational and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services to students (K-12) via a secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platform.
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the effective delivery of therapy and educational goals.
- Document and track student progress, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date therapy records.
- Provide consultative services to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for speech-language pathology services in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Illinois State Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication) required.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting, with a focus on IEPs and special education services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to provide services virtually using teletherapy platforms.
