ProCare Therapy is now hiring for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services through a fully remote VOCO platform. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse and dynamic group of students, ranging from early elementary to transition-age young adults (5–21), within a supportive and collaborative special education framework.
This part-time position is ideal for SLPs looking to balance meaningful school-based work with schedule flexibility, while still being deeply involved in the IEP process and day-to-day progress of their students.
About the Position:
In this role, you’ll work closely with school staff, special educators, and families to support students’ communication goals through direct virtual therapy, collaborative consultation, and participation in the development and review of IEPs. You’ll serve a varied caseload that includes:

Verbal and nonverbal students

At least one student who is deaf and communicates via sign language

Students with moderate to severe speech-language impairments across developmental levels
A trained paraprofessional will be assigned to support the SLP by facilitating sessions, assisting with behavior support when needed, and helping with on-the-ground logistics.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels (ages 5–21)

Design and implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals

Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s communication level and learning profile

Contribute meaningfully to IEPs, including assessments, progress monitoring, and goal setting

Attend and actively participate in virtual IEP meetings to collaborate with school teams and families

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, progress, and communications

Coordinate with paraprofessionals and other support staff to ensure continuity and success of virtual services
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Licensed SLP in the state where you live and (if different) the state where the school is located

ASHA CCCs strongly preferred; will consider strong CF candidates with relevant experience

Prior experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable

Must be confident delivering therapy in a virtual/teletherapy format

Comfortable working with students across a wide age and ability range

Ability to communicate effectively with students who are nonverbal or deaf
-
ASL proficiency or experience working with deaf students is a significant asset

Organized, tech-savvy, and self-directed in a virtual environment
