Key Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in South Carolina
- Active South Carolina Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is an asset, especially working with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy for a caseload of up to 60 students (often lower)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for each student on your caseload
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to support student progress and success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and state requirements
