Remote Bilingual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with a local school district in Chesapeake, Virginia to hire a Remote Bilingual (Spanish) School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year. This is a part-time, per diem (PRN), 1099 opportunity focused primarily on student evaluations, making it an ideal role for clinicians seeking flexibility without a full caseload commitment.
This position is remote, as-needed only, and will typically involve two to three evaluations per week. Renewal for the following school year is based on performance and district needs.

Daily Responsibilities
-
Conduct bilingual (Spanish/English) speech and language evaluations
-
Administer, score, and interpret standardized and informal assessments
-
Write clear, compliant evaluation reports aligned with Virginia and district guidelines
-
Participate in eligibility meetings as needed (virtually)

Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with special education regulations
State & Position Requirements

Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

School-based experience preferred

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
Target Pay Range (1099 – Based on School Experience)

0–2 years: $50–53/hr

3–5 years: $53–56/hr

6–9 years: $56–59/hr

10+ years: $59–62/hr
Final pay rate is dependent on experience.
