Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Chesapeake, VA
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Chesapeake, Virginia. Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (commuting within Chesapeake)

Hourly Pay Range: $53 – $62/hr

Estimated Weekly Take-Home: $1794 – $2070 (after estimated taxes)

Consistent weekly pay with direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

Taxable hourly base plus tax-free stipends for housing and meals

Equivalent Hourly Range: $64 – $76/hr (when stipends are included)

Weekly Take-Home: $1794 – $2070

Job Responsibilities

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students

Conduct evaluations and maintain progress documentation

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with IDEA

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student growth

Ensure adherence to state and district policies
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date)

ASHA CCCs preferred; strong CF candidates will be considered

Background check and district clearance required
