- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and parent conferences as needed
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and families to enhance students’ communication success in the classroom
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment
