School Speech and Language Pathologist | Chehalis, Washington
Four Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 school district located in Chehalis, WA. These contract roles offer full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week, providing the opportunity to work with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels.
Available positions include multiple elementary SLP roles serving grades K-6, with an average caseload of approximately 60 students. There is also an opening for an SLP in a developmental preschool program, working with children ages 3-5 (not kindergarten) and potentially some elementary students depending on enrollment. Additionally, one position serves the secondary level across two buildings, working with students in grades 7-12. Caseloads for all roles are consistent with approximately 60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions for K-12 and preschool students.
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain detailed documentation and caseload records in compliance with district policies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Washington State SLP license.
- Eligibility for Employment Support Authorization (ESA).
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
