Opportunities for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 public school setting located in Olympia, WA. These contract roles involve a 37.5-hour workweek with an approximate caseload of 60 students, providing a dynamic and impactful clinical environment.
Positions available include:
- Multiple elementary roles serving grades K-6
- Developmental preschool position focusing on ages 3-5 (not kindergarten), with potential to serve some elementary students depending on enrollment
- Secondary level position serving grades 7-12 across two buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to students across assigned grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington state SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
