Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Ooltewah, TN
This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Tennessee license and CCC certification to support elementary school students in a K-12 setting. The assignment is based onsite in Ooltewah, TN, with a focus on delivering therapy, conducting evaluations, and participating in related meetings. The contract runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, covering case loads across 1 to 3 schools depending on demand.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to elementary-aged students.
- Conduct formal and informal evaluations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff through meetings to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Tennessee DOE certification requirements.
- Manage caseload efficiently while adhering to assigned work hours of 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee SLP license.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification.
- Experience working with school-age children in an educational environment.
- Ability to work onsite full time; remote or hybrid options are not available.
