Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Gastonia, North Carolina

Provide specialized occupational therapy services within a supportive school district environment, delivering care to PreK through 5th-grade students across two elementary locations in Gastonia, NC. This full-time contract position offers 40 hours per week over 5 days, designed for professionals passionate about fostering student success through therapeutic intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to the developmental needs of elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and promote inclusion
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing clinical expertise to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy License is required
- Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with children and school personnel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
