A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a middle and high school setting in North Charleston, SC. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills of students ranging from 6th to 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students to address communication disorders.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina SLP license is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with middle and high school students.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:
- Middle/High School in North Charleston, SC
Work Schedule:
- School year contract from ASAP through June 12.
- Typical school hours from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m.
