Location: New Kent County area, Virginia
Position Type: Hourly / Contract (ASAP start through May 29, 2026)
Compensation: Starting at $40/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in schools near New Kent, Virginia. In this role, you’ll service approximately 55 students district-wide, with 15-20 students to case-manage directly. We may also consider candidates who can supervise or work with SLP Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services (evaluation, therapy, progress monitoring) to students across grades

Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), goals, and track progress

Case manage a caseload of ~15–20 students

Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
-
Potential oversight or coordination with SLPAs, if applicable
-
Maintain appropriate documentation, data tracking, and compliance with state/district procedures
-
Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and district leadership
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
State licensure / certification (or eligibility)

Experience in school settings preferred

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

(Optional) Experience supervising or working with SLPAs is a plus
