Clinical Fellow SLP in Vero Beach, FL
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist – Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF) position is based in Vero Beach, FL, serving a school setting along the Southeast Florida coast. The contract runs from ASAP through June 2, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This role focuses on providing comprehensive evaluations, particularly assisting the district with catching up on evaluations for students, including those with Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations with an emphasis on Autism spectrum disorders
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop effective intervention plans based on evaluation results
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district requirements
- Communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience in conducting evaluations for students with Autism is highly desirable
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing procedures, with potential to use existing Department of Health records
- Strong organizational and communication skills
