Pediatric SLP Clinical Fellow - Logansport, Indiana
This contract position offers a full-time opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a school setting located in Logansport, IN. The role covers students from preschool through 12th grade, serving approximately 70 learners with diverse abilities and needs. About 30 students will have speech or language impairment as their primary eligibility, making the SLP their teacher of record, while the remaining students will receive specialized support as their teacher of service due to speech and language being a secondary identification.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to preschool through 12th-grade students.
- Serve as the teacher of record for students with primary speech or language impairment eligibility.
- Provide consultative and direct therapy services for students with secondary speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligible for or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a school or pediatric setting.
- Experience in educational or healthcare environments preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with students of various ages and ability levels.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
