Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Texas state licensure and completion of required clinical practicum
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Eagerness to work closely with seasoned SLPs, teachers, and caregivers
- Excellent organization and time management skills to balance caseload and documentation
- Compassion for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-age children
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in professional development, mentorship, and collaborative planning sessions
- Advocate for student needs while managing workload independently
