About the Position
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Hillsville, VA! This role offers the chance to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance learning and communication outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide progress reports.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Virginia state licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to tailor therapy sessions to meet students’ unique needs.
- Proficiency in technology for documentation and virtual therapy when necessary.
- Passion for working with children and fostering their success.
